Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: September 4, 2026
Welcome to the website of Lishe kwa Ufanisi. By accessing or using this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, you must not use our website.
3.1 Use of the Website
- Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old, or have parental/legal guardian consent, to use this website or sign up for volunteer programmes.
- Permitted Use: This website is intended to provide information about our feeding programme, share our story and impact, and connect visitors with ways to donate, volunteer, or partner with us. Any unauthorised or illegal use of this website is strictly prohibited.
- Accurate Information: If you fill out our contact form (for volunteering, partnerships, or general enquiries), you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
3.2 Intellectual Property
All content on this website - including text, graphics, the Lishe kwa Ufanisi logo, photos of school programmes, and overall design - is the intellectual property of Lishe kwa Ufanisi unless otherwise stated.
- You may view, download, and print materials for personal, non-commercial use only.
- You must not reproduce, modify, distribute, or republish any content or images without our prior written consent.
3.3 Donations
This website does not process donations directly - there is no online payment form. If you would like to donate, please get in touch through our contact page, and our team will coordinate the details with you directly. Because donations are arranged outside this website, any transaction is subject to the terms of the bank, mobile money provider, or other channel used to complete it, not this website.
If you believe an error was made in a donation arranged with us, please contact us at info@lishekwaufanisi.org with details, and we will do our best to help resolve it.
3.4 Our Community-Driven Model
Lishe kwa Ufanisi operates on a distributed model of shared responsibility:
- Parents at partner schools contribute cereals.
- Learners provide firewood.
- Lishe kwa Ufanisi covers cooks' salaries and provides logistics support.
By engaging with our organisation, partners and volunteers acknowledge that our programme's sustainability relies on this shared community commitment. We do not claim sole ownership of the feeding process - we act as facilitators alongside the parents, learners, and schools we work with.
3.5 Limitation of Liability
Lishe kwa Ufanisi makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information on this website. However, we do not warrant that the website will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses. In no event shall Lishe kwa Ufanisi, its founder, or staff be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website.
3.6 Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
